Detector FAQ

Why does invisible text cause issues in my documents?

Hidden Unicode characters can break formatting, prevent searches from matching, or trigger moderation filters. Detecting them early ensures cleaner collaboration and safer publishing.

Will cleaning remove regular spaces or line breaks?

No. The cleaner only strips zero-width and placeholder characters defined in the detector. Regular whitespace, punctuation, and emoji are preserved exactly as entered.

Can I export a report of the detected characters?

You can copy or export the cleaned text directly. For deeper auditing, use the summary table to note which character types appeared and how often.
